Affordable Bino / Rangefinder suggestions

So while killing some time I dug up an old Australian Shooters mag and was having a flip through, found my way to an article on Bushnell's Fusion 1 Mile ARC rangefinding binculars.

I've been keen on getting a pair (of something, not necessarily the Bushnells) for a while now. The article had me going all the way up until I read that these things retail for nearly $1200

Definitely don't have that much to spend on them.

Any suggestions for some quality alternatives that don't cost a fortune? Probably $600 max is more what I would be willing to fork out for something decent if possible.

Spending a fortune on binos is over rated IMO.

For $400-$500 you can a fine stand alone range finger, then a $50 pair of binos does the job no problem.

Anyone spending $1200 on a combined pair obviously has too much money

If you're a fan of Bushnell they do plenty of stand alone range fingers for half the price or less of those $1200 binoculars.
