It been a while. I had to look at it to remember what it was. A bit sad that all we can do at the moment is service our quadbikes, load ammo, look at old hunt vids , ......it must very quiet out there in the paddocks ......I remember my favourite hi protein stubble paddocks very well from dusk till midnight ... despite the sounds of rifles pigs would still enter the paddocks from the safety of the scrub Sometimes they would stop on the edge and look and think and sniff , and I would be shooting at a mob in the middle somewhere. And they would still come trotting out into my paddock hoping for the best because they were hungry .... but after midnight when their bellies were 3/4 full the sounds of bullets were too much stress for them so they used to say. Stuff this I’m outta here, it’s not worth staying any more ... it’s a pattern they have known well all their lives ......but at the moment with no hunters they can just pig out all night and sleep during the day .....just like one big long all expenses paid holiday to a resort on the Great Barrier Reef.
