It's not sport and you're not out in public? The only concern is you cant do it with anyone other than who lives with you (swap the word hunting for bbq or party - they're illegal). But on your own or with people who live with you - I dont imagine it being a problem?

If it is your primary residence than of course it is. However if you have to drive out to your land, the courts might not agree that hunting is a valid excuse to leave your primary residence. I wonder if a good lawyer could argue that you was simply gathering food on your own private property to save money during these tough economic times. Spend 50grand to avoid paying a $1000 fine.

Property maintenance is allowed. I have cameras at my bush cabin and I noted a down pipe had come adrift so drove out - safe in the knowledge I had mobile phone evidence if required but I think most police would be reasonable regardless...fitness in a solitary environment...food gathering...work / pest Managemrnt...etc.

I was at the LFD the other day and bought my scope. He said my PTA had been approved by LRD and that I should be right to pick up my 308 this Monday coming. Theyve said it a couple of times.

Anyone else picked up a rifle in the last few days? I'm just worried I'm getting my hopes up.
