Mounts that clamp on to the barrel...

Post by jays » 07 Jul 2014, 9:57 pm

Hi guys,

I'm thinking about trying one of the picatinny rails that clamps onto your barrel.

I've Google but can't find any specific instructions. Other than the obvious of just clamping it on is there anything to these?

Can you put them on too tight? Could it effect accuracy?

It's just for mucking around with some accessories.

Thanks.

A torque screwdriver to make sure you tighten each corner equally would be the only thing, and don't over tighten it.

Probably not mandatory but good practice for these things in general.
