In my 55 (so far) years of shooting, I am still amazed at how often I've seen very slightly built blokes and women,,, firing fairly hefty caliber
firearms (some times for extended periods of time) and just simply take it all in their stride,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

All too often I've seen big heavy built blokes that you would presume could handle quite a bit of recoil,,,,, pull up, and whinge about the recoil
of something moderate like a .308

Oh make no mistake, this guy was set up a little...
The powder charge was a little over max, the projectile was 220gn, the table was as low as I could get it...I wouldn’t let him shoot off a rest, meaning his shoulders were more square...as his left arm rested on bench, he wasn’t allowed to wear a jacket over his shirt when shooting...oh yes...every sentence started with, “well, if you’ve shot a 50, then the 300 won’t do crap...you’ll be right.”

Okay but would you shoot it like that normally?

Has nothing to do with it...”well, if you e shot a 50, then the 300...” etc. it was his mouth that needed fixing, he wasn’t being scored on “form”.

Well I guess we are lucky that there are some that would, and may we never forget those that did.
