I get ads for truck and machinery auctions, workshop tooling and machinery, mens clothing, hand tools, camping gear, solar panels and gun shops.

I've got an Alibaba bra ad just before posting this. Now it's an ad for a plastics manufacturer.

I can understand when it's things I've searched for or bought (though stupid, how many pool chlorinator cells do I need), but most of the ads here are for things I've never even heard of. Like that weird anime one....

Sometimes I get really way out rubbish that couldn't possibly relate to my own search history, most of the time I get hunting or camping stuff. I do see an awful lot of slingshot ads which I have zero interest in, and an ad just now for a 1977 XA Coupe, I guess because I watched a video this morning of Historic Touring Cars that my brother sent me, sometimes the ads make sense but often they don't

Just now I have an ad for sheds (because I was searching for a shed builder for my brother a couple weeks ago up near Canberra), and an ad for women's swimwear that I don't recommend, they never fit comfortably around the crotch when I order them!

I get the car as well, and ooh it's nice.
Unfortunately the trustpilot and productreview ratings of the people behind that organisation are abysmal.

The algorithm is tailored to feed our confirmation bias, whatever we look for most is what it feeds us.
