Victorias Firearm license and prescription pain medication?

Hey guys recently I’ve completed and handed in my firearms application and with all the research I’ve been doing I am beginning to be abit sceptical on the answer I might get. I’ve had a bike accident couple years back and hurt my lower back, since then been prescribed s8 pain medication for my pain. Especially with all the tightening of gun laws here in Victoria,
My question is would this affect the outcome of my application?

Short answer, no. I know someone with a morphine script after losing a leg, didn't affect their licence. LRD are more concerned with people using anti-psychotics, Cheers.

I think this type of thing is a good example of why you should OPT OUT of the MY Health scheme. Having your medical records available for any gov dept to seach or view is not a good thing.

Lol no mate. I used the term unlawful ( not morally right or conventional ) not the word illegal ( forbidden by the law )
