Then why make allegations against someone in the first instance?

Allegation? Just made a statement, I know the situation personally, suggesting that not all pest controllers are squeaky clean.

So who loads TSS and how does it compare price-wise to conventional ammo?

I load it and its very expensive. Infact so expensive its cheaper for me to using my 416 Remington magnum to shoot foxes :drinks:

Seriously? I'm guessing a .416 Rem Mag cartridge would be somewhere well north of $5 - that's one very expensive shotgun cartridge!

US$10 is about Aus$15 per shot! That might be acceptable in the USA if you have one shot at a turkey but is never going to catch on in Australia with multiple rabbits, foxes, cats in one session. It's just not practical.

Well practical and cost effective if you are not a "pro" are two completely different things.

Secondly the cost is almost entirely proportional to the payload. The turkey loads in 20G can go as high as 2oz or 56 grams. I'm using 15 grams of #10 for ducks and it will kill them at 45 yards. I'm using 27 grams of #7 for foxes and that will kill then at 70m. If I really want to limit it I could drop it down to 20 grams. So the cost for me is about $2- $4/shot depending on the payload. It is possible to drop the duckload down to 12 gram or even 10 if the distance is under 40 yards which starts to put it in the bismuth range.

WOW...!!
No 7's at 70 metres killing foxes...

Id be interested to see any like for like testing in direct comparison to lead if you have it at your finger tips...
Even on a fox running flat out, at 70 metres id launch a 22lr sub before letting a load of 7's go...well the target loads of 7's in my box anyway...

Plenty of video's of foxes this year being dropped at 70m with #7.

However look here for actual pattern and penetration tests on a like for like.
