Mailing a rifle stock in Victoria

Post by whert » 23 Jul 2014, 10:28 pm

I think I have this right and that the restrictions are only to do with importing.

I have a mate who's and engraver but lives hours away.

I can mail him a rifle stock to do some work on and return right? Just the stock, no action...

Kosher, right?

A stock minus the action is not a firearm, I have had a stock mailed to Darwin from Brisbane, zero problems.

Tell that to Customs when you try and import one...
