Been getting phone calls all day today,,, recorded message telling me that my XXXX Bank account has been frozen/shutdown.

Ever wondered when it's that consistent that they (scammers) are somehow actually watching online,,, and waiting for you to go and
log in to check ???

Out of the blue about 3 years ago I started getting solar sales calls. Sometimes upto 5 or 6 a day.

Still getting them but no longer answer any calls not in my contacts. That has slowed them down to 4 or 5 a week.

If they don't leave a message it ain't important.

I do enjoy speaking to the callers from Microsoft - via India - in German. They keep bleating 'what language's that?' and I demand they speak German to me. I also try them on my schoolboy French, but I'm not too flash in French compared to German. Eventually they get frustrated and hang up. Only one has twigged that I was playing funny buggers and he told me I was a donkey shagger.

Ahh don't be so harsh on these poor scammers.
They are simply just the bottom feeders of the shakedown world.
Not everybody can be in politics or the pharmaceutical industry.

Heres how i get rid of them. Listen to what they say sound really interested in what they are offering and once they get to the end of it politley ask if they could send you a pic of their wife naked. They swear at you in a foriegn language and hang up and never call back...

I had one call me up and I let my stressful day and he hung up , a few minutes later he called me to say " f*** you robin f*** you " haha

Yeah, you can have fun with those that actually live call you instead of just getting a recording.
I remember one in particular a couple years ago,,,,,,,,,

He asked if I ran "Windows" on my computer,,,,,, and I replied No I don't.

So then he asked "What program do I run" ?

I replied saying,,,,, I use DOORS mate.

There was a dead silence for a while,,, and then he (Indian) replied,,, Ha Ha Ha,,, Velly funny.

But then the rude little prick hung up on me

Or ask for their personal mobile number so you can call them back see what they say.

I dragged an investment scammer along for months back in 2018. It coincided with my importing two rifles so I used that deal as the reason I couldn't invest with him just then as I didn't know what they were going to cost me until they eventually arrived and I had them in hand. He rang me from Asia (Singapore I think, though he was a pom) every week, until eventually dwindling off. Unfortunately he didn't have the staying power to last the five-months the import took. But at least I cost him a few hundred dollars in international phone calls and kept him occupied for lots of hours that he otherwise would've been scamming somebody else. I recorded all of his calls and still have them archived somewhere. Didn't cost me anything to let him natter in my ear while I was doing farm stuff.

When they call I tell them I’m in the middle of installing a plasterboard ceiling sheet and I just need to put a few more screws in it so it won’t fall down ...can u wait a minut? They reply sure no problem... then I just put my phone down and let them wait forever while I completely forget about them

blowing a whistle while they are talking works for me , only get 1 or 2 calls a year ( use to get 2 -3 calls a month )
