Vienna shooting club

Morning all,

Anyone done this before? https://www.viennashootingclub.com/

I'm in Vienna in May and June. Seems like a good opportunity to try a few firearms we usually cant :D (although I realise it's expensive).

Just wanting to make sure it's not some weird scam.

Thanks!

Sounds like a very expensive trip to shoot some firearms that used to be legal here (in semi-auto). 119 Euros to fire 90rds is probably not bad as I believe the ammo is itself quite expensive there. A quick Google and it seems they pay similar money to us for their centrefire ammo.

But if you're there anyway it seems a great way to spend an hour :-)

Have you considered Vietnam where you can also pay to use full-auto firearms and RPG's? Maybe Thailand as well?

About 35000 dong or $2 a shot with the M16, but the trip is probably cheaper than going to Austria.

G'day darkspartan2022,
Are you going to Graz while you are there? It is not far from Vienna, I don't know if you have any inyerest in weaponry apart from firearms, but Graz has the only 100% original Mediaeval Armoury left in the world, the Landeszeughaus is 4 floors of swords, axes, halberds, wheel-lock and match-lock muskets and pistols, armour (including a suit of armour for a horse!) motars etc.
PS: In Vienna I recommend a visit to the Tiergarten, the zoo is OK, but the Palace and it's grounds are simply magnificent, Cheers.
