Had to prove I was me by entering a username and password, this is outrageous.

When I typed in my username and state it told me my ID was already in use,,,,, and to pick another.

The internet is a marvelous thing, bugs, scams, keyloggers and viruses everywhere. I don't have any issues logging in, neither did rc42, just you by the look of it. Run a scan with your AV software, nothing to do with mods by the way.
