G'day all, thought I had better introduce myself after lurking for a bit.

Lived in the Narre Warren area in S.E Vic all my life, closer to fifty years than fourty .

I used to shoot a CZ .40 cal pistol at The Springvale range many moons ago and absolutely loved the sport and people down there.
I bought myself and my Son a rifle each in 2012 to go hunting together as father / son combo. We plan to go hunting at the end / start of each year as a minimum. Three trips under our belt so far. We started with centre fire as my boy wanted to go pig hunting.

My rifle is a Remington 700 ss 5r in 223 cal with Carl Zeiss 4,5 - 14 x 44 Conquest scope

Son's rifle is Remington 700 sps in 30-06 with Carl Zeiss 3-9 x 40 Conquest scope

My second rifle is a Marlin XT 22 with Nikko Stirling 3-9 x 40 Mount Master scope.

Pretty happy I found this forum btw,
