About a year ago I was trying to ambush sambar sitting under a tree.
After about an hour I put the rifle down and went and had a sh1t.
Come back and hind was standing about 2 or 3 yards from my rifle. We stared at each other from perhaps 6-7 yards for maybe 2 minutes before she decided to bugger off.

Problem with hunting sambar is just 1 fills half the freezer. gotta eat it before you shoot another.
