How about this evolution of the idea fellas. 4/5oz shotloads. In that a factory 3" 5x 000 buck load you can buy off the shelf is about that heavy.( triple ought buck is about 70 grains a pellet so its 350 grains load!)
I just empty the balls out and tip in shot size of my choice? Real redneck solution to a non existant problem and it also costs more so it ticks a lot of boxes
I'm not a shotgun reloader and read that smaller shot will compress and plug the bore more, may raise peak pressures somewhat, so maybe after I emtpy the buckshot out I reduce shot payload a few grains?
Apart from the cost, waste of buckshot and no real need to use loads this heavy...is the idea sound?
