My wife reckons ADHD in my case being I get distracted by everything I shouldn't...

That's no fun at all.

NZ breeders cannot get new genetics from the Americas anymore due to import/export restrictions. I guess that restriction applies to Wapiti being exported back to the US, from where they were initially gifted to NZ . It's because of a complete ban on any live export, imposed by NZ Govt.
Although the US is the largest importer of farmed Venison from NZ, and China is the importer of the majority of deer Velvet. Most Aussie Velver goes there too. Although deer aren't killed to supply this product.
This is why the importation of semen straws is how breeders continue to strengthen genetics now. But that's no different from the cattle industry here, same result, just different animals. And different yardage requirements.

So thanks to all who's tips here led to be getting this collectors book, and others worthy of a gun-room hunters library. Some came from England, the US but these two from NZ. Not everyone's interests, but they are mine. Again, thanks.
