W.A. license with 7-year-old driving related conviction?

Post by altboy3000 » 28 Apr 2024, 8:52 am

Hello everyone,

I'm wondering if having a mid-range drink driving offense from over 7 years ago would affect my application for a cat A license in WA? I submitted my application yesterday through the local shop and didn't even think about that conviction until it was mentioned in the application. The more I think about it, the more it seems like it could be a valid reason for rejection based on safety concerns.

Has anyone else encountered a similar situation or have any insights to share?

Thank you!

Any update on this, or any feedback from others with experience on an issue like this?
could a speeding offence be counted as an issue, say 20 yrs back ... surely not !!!
