I have the Hornady Lock n Load deluxe kit and it's great. Been using for about 2 years. I'm fairly new to it and before that I just used a Lee loader. I only reload for .357 mag for a rifle. I have Hornady dies and don't use any lube when resizing and don't have any problems so far. But should I spray oil inside the dies to stop corrosion after reloading? Thanks.

If you start on any bottle-mouth rifle cartridges, you best start using lube.

The Oneshot is good for inside the case mouthes with a cotton tip, I just wipe out with a clean tip.

Oneshot is convenient but must be shaken before use and will get you a stuck case sooner or later.

To be clear, One Shot can be bought as an aerosol spray, or a wax. So you have two options.

Does it matter if I trim my brass 0.002 too short , I know it’s only a very small number but will it matter or did I just kill my brass

Recommended trim length is 2.484"

The book says for 308 max is 2.015 and trim length to 2.005 , would the trim length be recommended or min

Yep recommend max and minimum

Manuals often don't explaine it well.
The operative words out of my old hornady manual is 'a guide"

When they cut the chamber they allow for case that are a bit too long.

P.S. most likely stretch at least 0.003" every firing
