Ammo dusty/dirty

I have some .308 ammo that got covered in fine dust (wind check powder). I don’t want to toss it, but I also don’t want to run all that powdering gunk up the barrel. Any ideas on the best way to clean the gunk off live rounds without ruining them?

Its just dust? Damp chucks, one at a time.

This, just wipe off with a damp cloth, no problem. I have rinsed muddy ammo in a creek many times, not to mention dozens of river crossings and endless days soaked in the rain with only a quick wipe down at camp, modern ammo is highly resistant to water damage.

Even in the cleanest of houses, if you leave articles (ammo included) laying around it will gather fine dust over time.
Did your Mother teach you how to use a dust cloth ?

However,,,,,,,,,,, if your that worried about the ammo being dirty/dusty,,,,,,,,,, just send it to me.
I'll put it all to good use.
