State election in WA.

Post by safeshot » 27 Feb 2025, 5:39 pm

27-2-25.
Yep the state election in WA is underway. over 35,000 people have voted thus far.
The Nats have placed candidates in otherwise city 'seats', there are Independents, Teals, and a host of other folk as well.
An awful lot is riding on the result for firearm owners.

The Nats have said they have an iron clad agreement with the Libs if they get a Coalition to govern they will seriously deal with the new firearm laws and regs.
I am hoping the general disdain for the Fed Labor govt with grind off onto the WA labor govt.

stay tuned all.

PS and the elephant in the room is the Firearm laws. No one has mentioned them, not Labor, not Libs and certainly not anyone on the media.

That's because - and I've said this along - the Liberals are over the moon that Labor have done the dirty work on firearms that they were too scared to do. They are also completely untrustworthy self-important animals - any agreement they may or may not have with the Nats is pretty meaningless

A pretty sad starting line up in my electorate. Slim pickings unfortunately.
