Diana Stormrider

Hi all, Just wanted to hear if anyone has one of these Diana Stormrider PCP’s in .22 cal. I was at the gun shop the other day looking at the Fx Dreamline and the Diana was there with it.
I had a look at the Stormrider and was impressed with the gun. My question is apart from needing a barrel band, not holding as many shots in the mag and a smaller air cylinder than the dreamline is there anything negative about these PCP’s I can get a Stormrider for 1/3 of the price of the dreamline and for what I’m using the gun for would mostly be a 30m gun very rarely out to 50m if ever.

Cheers Thanks guys.

Could be wrong but I don't think the Diana has any of the adjustments for transfer port and hammer spring. I'm not sure if it even has a regulator let alone an adjustable one. Throw in all the "hotup" and aftermarket options fx has and you'll start to see where the pric discrepancy comes in.
No experience with the Diana. It may suit your needs fine but it doesn't really compare apples to apples with the fx.

Anecdotally......a mate has one that he uses for pest control jobs and absolutely loves it,reckons its good to 100m on bunnies.
That sounds pretty good to me

Been thinking of one for around the sheds. Will look into it further. Don't want to spend too much.

No worries, awesome thanks for the reply’s guys. Yeah definitely understand that it’s not going to perform like the FX’s but from the price point if they’re pretty accurate out to 30-40m and reliable I’d be pretty happy with that just for pest control. Cheers
