DIY CZ457 15 round magazine sleeve & oversized bolt handle

The original 15 round mag is good but looks a little too thin so I use foam, clothes and superglue to make a sleeve for it

You guys don’t think the original CZ mag is too small and too thin? 5 round one is good because it doesn’t stick out but 10 round and 15 round looks way too small and thin, especially on CZ515, Now some manufacturers make the 22 mag looks like center fire mag which is much better in my opinion, so I try to make the sleeve cover the original one it may need some work to look good but I think it worth to try

Try to find the photo of 15 round mag on rifle but couldn’t, this is original 25 round mag on the rifle…I don’t know how many of you guys like it
If CZ can make the sleeve or big/thicker mag I wouldn’t bother to make my own

He’s thinking use a AR 223 (10 round) mag to cover it as well otherwise it always looks funny…
My 15 round mag comes with the rifle it’s too long for pmag and AK mag I can not buy so I have to try DIY

As one who has always preferred classic 22 LR's with dainty little mags, I have to admit that in this case "bigger can be better".

These past few years, I've spent bulk time running 700 foot print AICS style rim fire mags - As long as they're set up properly, I find them much easier to use than traditional 22 LR mags.

I didn't change the length or the front curve of the original mag, just make it wider and thicker, if the shape looks ugly it's not my fault, it's CZ's
the finish of the sleeve is hard to make it very nice, so make a camo cloth cover for the mag cover to hide
the same as the oversized bolt handle, without the camo cloth wrap it looks like a piece of poor quality plastic
now maybe it's not pretty but its looks ok for me and really easy(effortless) to cycle the bolt
