Haven’t been caught. Have done it before and will do it again.

Have to be wary. Even if it’s police uniforms. Verify who it is.

Get cameras. Get floodlights. Get dogs. Decent security doors.

Help is not minutes away. This is Victoria now. An hour or two easy.

it'd be a different situation if we had castle law in this country . if i had the rights legally to defend myself and my property more than we do now , violent home invaders wouldn't be so keen to try this stuff on . you fellas will probably guess what i'm eluding to, i won't put that view out in this woke world on the internet cause it can come back to bite you on the arse .

the right to defend oneself is the second amendment

You have that right. No one can remove that from you. It’s in your biology.

But ideally yes, a government should recognise it.

Our own government is unique in not doing so. We are the exception to the rule here.

You are going to do what you will regardless. Just survival instincts. You don’t really get to moderate them.

But try your best to remember do not advance. Always retreat. Your stuff can be replaced.

See there is a tyrannical push for police in Victoria to be able to access peoples home cctv remotely? People love giving up their freedoms under the guise of public safety.

It’s not a push . That’s funny.

I can’t read the linked article because it’s the herald sun . So I’m just not even going to look at that.

Its an interesting concept if it’s optional. If it’s voluntary.

I probably would give them access. I have a good rapport with my local police.

If things did suddenly just get all tyrannical distopian and stormtroopers disappearing my neighbours and stuff.

Well s**t. I’ll just unplug it. How do you like those apples Mr tyrannical overlord.

I have cameras on me all the time anyway. At work , at the shops, on the roads. I’m really not that interesting. Just dose’nt bother me anymore.

I still haven’t woken up blindfolded and tied to a chair in some off shore dark site for my interrogation. Just never seems to happen year after year.

Got my 5g microchip implants. Virtual drivers licence. Mobile phone tracking me everywhere.

I demand to be finally taken seriously as some international secret agent plotting to overthrow democracy and whatever else I’m scheming up. Come on already.

Read this. https://www.gotocourt.com.au/criminal-l ... f-defence/
You'll still be wheeled into court, but self-defence is absolutely permissible.

After spending time in America the only thing that worries me about castle law in my house is hurting a neighbour or a family member.

Would hate for a round to go into a neighbours house and hurt an innocent person.

So the type of load that one uses is important. Something that does not penetrate to much.

umm ,yeah, your entitled to your views mate , but posting on a firearms forum that's publicly accessible about shooting someone in the face with a shotgun is not a good look for a variety of reasons . in this modern world the fuzz or WLB could take a very dim view of such statements. i'm not trying to nanny you mate , you can say what you want , but it's the sort of statement that lefty's opposed to castle law/gun owners could use in a negative light . cheers

You are probably right but I feel very strongly about this subject. Cops work their ring off catching them only for them to be released to do it again.
It only needs a couple of them to go and they might get the message.

your right, and in theory i agree with some of your views . the response i posted was intended to be helpful, not judgemental or sarcastic, just to remind you that what we post online can come under scrutiny , be taken out of context and come back to bite us on the @ss .
if in the unforeseen future, you were in a home invasion circumstance, what you posted could result in a charge of pre-meditated GBH at the vey least . stay safe , cheers

Depending on the load a shotgun can still penetrate walls into neighboring rooms and houses.

Here is a good video from Paul Harrel before he died on the matter.
