You're given another chance, WA

Opportunity for words on social media to become actions.

Really guys, don't miss this chance.
I know it's only words, but if this was happening in Qld it wouldn't matter how much trouble it was to attend for me.
SSAA has already been rumoured to be advising against this rally. Again.

i've been following this , just watched a story by the ABC on the second rally . one protester holding a big banner that said "where is SSAA" . truly what use are they ? you pay membership and they do nothing when it comes to sticking up for shooters . ssaa needs new blood in management JMHO

bit of a harsh negative view mate . i've been following the actions of shooters union for a while , and they've been keeping up pressure on the police minister , along with industry heavy weights, over WLB's actions . SU is also making average guys like myself more aware that as a group, shooters have to get more pro active in sticking up for themselves . the worst thing is apathy and inaction , the rules in the west will roll east if we don't publicly voice our opinions and stand up and be counted. i've heard from local ssaa members of a lack of action from ssaa on pta issues with regards to big game calibers . this is first hand knowledge , i've seen a email from ssaa management to a member saying nothing is going on when he was getting the run around from WLB . no help from ssaa whatsoever . Rich, appreciate the support mate. But some people are born to fail, and their bitterness is all from jealousy that it's continually proven to them by others just refusing to lower themselves to their level.
Years ago I decided to insulate myself from all this bullsh*t and the pathetic keyboard warriors that contribute nothing except insults, because they haven't the talent or drive to wipe their own arses..
It's never been more apparent than what's been happening the last few years. But it's all self inflicted.

Nobody has to put up with this rubbish unless they want to, by virtue of doing nothing but wallow in the butter of left-hand self pity.
Problem is, down the track somewhere, the effects of self pity and those who wallow in it will affect me too.
So until then, we can only hope that keeping others informed or trying to get others to see they can make a difference if they can get past their own mental barriers and expectations of failure.
The proof of their failure and unhappiness is in their "contributions" to sites like this.

agreed

"you can lead a horse to water but can't make it drink" is a old saying . a more relevant one is "you can lead a human to knowledge but can't make it think "
