You know nothing about me, yet you make assumptions? You have 4 posts to your name as I reply, so you can be forgiven for your naivety.
My wife was a Qld cop, some of my best mates are still-serving cops that would "help me bury a body" if I asked and I have done the same for them. And they say the same things as I do. They have my utmost respect, something you will fail at.

Got a tip for you mate.
When you read something, don't just skim over the words. Absorb what's been written and use you comprehension skills to actually understand what the writer has put down. The construction of sentences and what is actually what's being said. Not your own personal biases or opinions. Then if you are a man, apologise.

So how did he get away? The Daily mail gave the insight that he may have kayak down the river and the next day the police are search downstream of the river.

I don't disagree at all, well maybe a little as I think its a stretch to far to even compare them to Tabloid journalism.

But they did get and release pictures of the cops at the bus and trying to get in, whereas no other journalist have done much at all, except to report what they have been told by the cops.

Still a lot of questions such as how did his wife and toddler get away? if they could, it's not much of a stretch to believe he got far far away. I wonder if the police are checking out Euroa? (that reference is for you womble )

Why haven't the police said the reason for them issuing a Firearms prohibition order? It certainly seems to be harassment by the local police, maybe that's why the higher ups didn't send the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) as they knew it was just a shakedown.

FPO are an interesting thing and very easy to use as a tool of harassment. Did you know the police could issue one against you because your behaviour of go around collecting rubbish from bins?
