Ruger American Gen 2 stock.

I've been eyeing off the Ruger American Predator Gen 2 in a 223. They're around $1100. Threaded with a medium heavy barrel I think. I was at the gun shop on the weekend to have a look at them. No stock. Dude said the wait time would be about 2 years. Said they were selling like hotcakes. So I went home and bought some Ruger stock (not that much, I'm not rich). Anyways anyone got one of these? Should I buy one when a 2nd hand one pops up?

Got a .243 in it - wish I had shelled out another $700 for a tikka hunter.
I have 3 Tikka hunters, and rate them highly. - The ruger will get moved on very soon.

No. Probably starting at around 2k and up.
But the hunter would.
