very lucky to find a good shape stock, like new metal parts and excellent barrel/rifling M1903 at very reasonable price in 2025 :D

Not easy to find a scant stock on a WW2 rifle, very few were used mainly being kept for rebuilds. My own straight stock Remington marked 03 is a bit odd being a 1918 dated 6 digit serial, can only assume it was an earlier rifle or at least receiver rebuilt by Remington for WW2. Serial range does put it in the Nickel steel recelver though. Thanks for sharing

Mine one is marked July 1944 on the barrel maybe is the last batch and unissued
