Gold just cracked 4k an ounce(USD).

Crazy economic times we live in. Be at 5k in 6 months at this rate. Just shows how bad the worlds economy is.

Plenty of currencies are doing ok. It’s just the US dollar has been plummeting since January

Gold price is crazy, good crazy though for Australia. Even better if your a prospector or miner ;-)

As of tonight it's AU$6150! Ground I would have lost money mining last year is now profitable and if I can find rich ground again soon it'll be life changing instead of just paying really well ;-)

Long may it continue, pity it's only because the world has kind of fallen apart though.

Hey mate, you find that yourself?

In our area on Pikes Creek that flows into Glen Lyon Dam, they used to find gold but it was slow to find so never caught on.
When we had the bores drilled, the one in the house yard went through a quartz seam and the rig spat out this gold veined quartz into the chip pile just before it broke into this huge quartz cave and an underground stream. Alas, it was at 120m down...

At the back of our joint we found test holes from over 100 years ago full of quartz crystals so we decided to try panning one Sunday arvo at bends in the creek where there were rock holes gouged by water. We came up with a medicine bottle of gold flecks, no nuggets. But hey, only spent 2 hrs on the job.

Can't find the bottle to skite with a pic! As we know, it's all BS without pics...
If only there was more time. But hey, when SHTF or TEOTWAWKI happens   , you can't eat gold...
