GunTraders ?

Post by ramshackle » 24 Nov 2025, 10:37 am

https://www.guntraders.com.au — does anyone have any opinions of this site? They are offering $10 for 90 days listing, if you ask them via email, but looking at the site, it has low volume of listings compared to usedguns.

All of these sites are very expensive to list a gun for sale. It's cheaper to sell a car on Gumtree.

I have never used them, however I have blocked their text messages numerous times and they still keep coming. That not a good start for me.

That's bad, and I noticed that my emails are getting responses from an AI agent. At first I thought I was dealing with a real person, but then it became clear that the replies were automated in some way. First time I've experienced that!

I'm also looking at the SSAA Gun Sales site, which looks quite legit: https://ssaagunsales.com/

They allow 5 pictures, which is nice, and your listing stays up for ONE YEAR rather than 90 days. Much better.

Listing fees for selling are just $10 per listing per item for SSAA members and $20 per listing per item for non-SSAA members.
*Listings stay on SSAA Gun Sales for 12 months from the date added, unless you sell your item (and mark the listing as ‘sold’) or remove it beforehand.

Yeah I like the SSAA site. $10 for members is a good price.

Gun traders is all dealer listings.
Including consignments.

https://usedguns.com.au/ gets the most traffic

https://ssaagunsales.com/ and https://www.ozgunsales.com/ are the other main ones.

There’s many more but no one knows they exist and they don’t move as much. But worth keeping an eye on, because if something nice turns up it gets snapped up quick.

https://www.progunsales.com.au/

There’s also a heap for illicit sales. But they’re operated by the feds.

If you’re looking for something in particular you’re better of ringing around. What’s on display isn’t the entire inventory. Just a sampling.

I've been looking for a certain rifle for awhile, having procrastinated last time I saw one.

If anyone finds an excellent Sako 85 "Hunter Deluxe" (high grade walnut/blued) in 300 Win Mag, let me know, I owe you a favour.

Depending on what I'm either selling or loooking for,, I use both sites, and had good results from both.

The All Guns Site has become a sad joke.
They've been upgrading the site for months now, and nothing seems to have changed.

:unknown: it never worked when it was working anyway.

Another one but there’s guns on there that were advertised 5 years ago.
So I don’t think it sees much action. But hey it’s free https://freegunsales.com.au/
..just the person you contact might have died by now.

Here’s one the federal police set up. https://firearmsonlineaustralia.com/
Very discreet, pay in crypto.
Certainly quite the armoury on sale.
Make a purchase if you like being arrested and jailed. From memory illicit firearm can get you 10 years.
… which is less than your marriage sooo. You could be a free man in 10 years instead
And you’d make lots of friends and actually get sex.

And again I get another text message from Guntraders.
I have blocked them and reported them as spam numerous times, but they keep coming through.
Great way to run a business and piss people off.

You may need to change your identity and go on the run
