remove scopes and accessories , wait a while and sell second hand . scopes and similar aren't restricted items in QLD . if i had to hand in a rifle they'd be getting a bolt, receiver/magazine and barrel and that's it !

The cost of the vasoline will be deducted from your $1000.

Ffs I was worried that would be the case. Not to mention I was looking at trading a couple in to get a better one but the 2nd hand market is now going to be in freefall.

There will be no second hand market here for optics if recreational shooting is banned. There will be millions of optics for sale with no buyers.
Those with high end optics might have to look at selling overseas.
Those who have a fancy stock/chassis might be better off removing them selling overseas and just handing in bolt action barrel and magazines or keeping stock/chassis as a wall ornament..

I own a lot of pistols. When are they going to steal our pistols?

Seeing as none were used they shouldn't even be looked at but then again we know how this filth works hopefully there's just as much time between incident and legislation as last time because everybody seems to be a lot more informed and mobilised at this time back in 96 it took eight months

If city people have no reason to own rifles, think they'll be handguns?
What about the bans on hunting?
The work recreational shooters do in controlling feral animals compared to the clusterf**k of government paid imbeciles?
Stop talking about what you'll do if you have to hand over guns.
Stop f*cking around here.
Have you all sent off at least 5 emails today instead?
