Here are the castapo new rules The Real jem is the fact that appealing any decision is deliberately put out of your reach which is proof this is about f****** us over an absolutely nothing to do with public safety

1. Reduction of firearms per licence holder to 4 ONLY, primary producer 10. W.A. allows 5 per licence holder.
Target shooters and collectors may apply for additional however will be a Commissioner or FAR delegate decision. 

2. Reduced licenses from 5 years to 2. Fresh application to renew your licence will be required every 2 years. 

3. Removal of NCAT appeal rights for a licence cancellation or refusal. Appeals can ONLY be heard in the NSW Supreme Court. Which will cost $50k plus and will be unaffordable by 98 % of shooters!

4. Recatorgoisation of straight pull and press button to Cat C. 

5. Reduction in magazine capacities to 5.
 
6. Increase oversight of registry, safe storage, shooting clubs.
 
7. Police to check safe storage requirements before firearm will be permitted to be acquired. 

8. More frequent safe storage storage checks by police

9. A buy back scheme funded 50/50 state/federal for firearms surrendered.

I believe he means that these super-expensive and very desirable rifles will now be made illegal for A&B licences.
So sadly they'll become unobtainable and not allowed.
Edit: Not many farmers will want these Frankenrifles, so I truly hope the buyback prices will be the replacement cost.

I wonder how they will handle lever actions with fixed tube mags (rifles and shotguns) like hi-cap .44, 38's etc. And treasured collectors historical pieces.
Or rifles that have only a AR style mag that is 10-shot detachable magpul-style as the smallest available? Like Ruger American bolt-actions, Howa Mini etc.

Seeing the absurd mention of "belt-fed" shotguns just reinforces that the public have these absolutely uninformed activist trash representing them in politics - how can people have been trusted to govern what they have no idea about?

I've always said this to much criticism - until we stop voting for political morons (how they present, hair colour, movie-star looks whatever other dumb reasons we have the politicians we have now) or left - right idealisms - instead of voting for individuals that have life experience in real-world Australian life we have ourselves to blame.

Yep, all the states regardless of party will all align with the NSW laws.
I don’t trust either party when it comes to throwing us all under the bus when it suits them.
This will be the second time for a lot of us that we have had our firearms confiscated.
The first time I lost two Heckler and Koch hunting rifles with three shot magazines. This time it looks like I will loose two Blaser R8’s with associated barrels.
What’s next?
Bolt action rifles might go in the next round, then maybe break action single shot. Sounds absurd doesn’t it?
I only have five firearms now, and after this I will only have three, one shotgun and two drillings.
I feel really sorry for some of you guys that have large collections and stand to loose a lifetime of collecting firearms. What a massive kick in the arse!

Magazine capacity is not unlimited as he claims for A+B
Non detachable magazines are unlimited.
Cat A detachable are currently 15 max with Cat B 10
Do i need to point out much faster to change a magazine than reload a non detachable?
Looks like the same idiocy they tried in WA which outlawed most lever action rifles before they backflipped on this.

In the USA, firearms laws were not that great in the 1980s and before. But we organized, became vocal and do what the left always does and that is push.

And with some exceptions with some individual states, pretty much in the USA you can carry and use your guns to defend yourself, hunt, target shoot or just collect for historical value.

So you will have to do the same, fight, fight, fight and be on top of these politicians and advocate your side.

Otherwise these totalitarian nut jobs like Chris Minns and Albanese will just take everything you have away.

Everyone knows what the real problem is and that is 3rd world immigration. There are people in the country incompatible with western civilization and they need the boot.

a LOT of gun shops are very active in posting about this on usedguns and ozgunsales with editorials and links to petitions. shame it's taken the tragedy of bondi to unite the shooting community, that and the exposure of Labor's gross ineptness in every aspect of running the country to the general public. i'm curious to see if there's a change in rhetoric over the next few days , like there was after the march for australia

Today I am starting to get the responses, which I am managing individually.
I also found out last week that my wife has cancer, and as anyone that has had cancer will understand, it is a really s**t time.
I am mentioning this because if I can make the effort at the moment, sitting in a hospital waiting room to try and fight for all of us, then so can all of you.

Yet they have offered bipartisan support to Minns to pass it.
