Questions about Queensland gun and ammunition laws. QLD Weapons Act 1990.

Department of Hunting & Defense (NEW)

Post by Die Judicii » 20 Dec 2025, 2:04 pm

On the left side in the bushes we have the typical Australian hunter dressed in camo,,
Sneaking up on a Fallow Stag, and pointing his finger at the stag saying Bang, Bang.

On the right side we have a defense force fellow also dressed in camo striding through the undergrowth yelling out Tank, Tank, Tank.

Seriously, the next major cause for Australia's defense (and citizens) will most likely be against a particular bent of religion.
And where will we be without a population of people already experienced with skills gained through firearms ?

Australia excelled in both WW1 and WW2 due to a large percentage of Aussies that already possessed these skills.

Where the FCK are we headed to now ?
I do not fear death itself... Only its inopportune timing!
And,,,,It's been proven,,,,, the most trustworthy females in my entire life were all canines.

don't be defeatist, stop the rot. get more active in using your democratic rights and discussing issues in a intelligent way with members of the public. i had my hair cut yesterday at my local barber shop, and the topic of bondi came up . the girls who work there and customers were already savvy to albo's gun law diversion, and don't understand how people on a watch list got legal access to guns.

america is the country it is cause they have a strong belief in fighting for their democratic rights . all to often in modern australia i hear complaining , but when i call for action the response is usually apathy and inaction. the lefties like the greens have been wining over this country because they make a lot of noise and good conservative australians fail to act . i've been sending off emails , dan purdie , qld police minister was sent one 5 minutes ago . action is needed now , and EVERY australian needs to come on board to stop this country sliding into left wing woke-ism . get busy , NOW!

In USA, welfare is the “third rail” (electric trains, 3rd one is electric power source. “Touch it and you die”
Similar to gun rights.

The reason pollies get away with this in Oz is apathy.
Clog their office TODAY with the clear and polite warning; this is their performance review and they face the sack for not representing you.

Your efforts here WILL make a difference.
As Rich says, if you don't, suck it up basically.

Albanese is sh*thing his pants right now, all the memes, the GG has 10's of 1000s calling for his resignation, aM8nns is s**ting himself...

All because people HAVE THE BALLS TO STEP UP
instead of saying "oh no, we're stuffed"
Do not give up, act.

thanks for the idea ,GG just got another email asking for the inept , extremist supporting by inaction prime minister to be sacked . anyone else emailed the GG ? barnaby is at a rally in sydney to call for his sacking supposedly . little too soon i think, but i don't think there'll be that much criticism of this fact .

so c'mon fellas , who else wants to email the GG asking for albo to be sacked ?

I think this NSW gun laws will backfire, watch the number of licensee go up! every one I know who has a license in QLD is getting their friends and wife/kids/parents to get a gun license, this will happen in NSW as well, the bigger the numbers the quicker a party will align with us shooters for votes

there will be over 1.3 million licensed shooters in the next 18 months at this rate, we are now at 943,000 licensed shooters in Australia, if everyone gets their wife to join and their over 18 kids we will be a force to be reckoned with when it comes to voting power, why be frightened and fight alone when we are so many!

We just want the current laws to be used, when they need to be used.

We spent the last two days in the cattle yards drenching and branding, our yards are about 150m off the road to allow easy truck access.
Middle of the day, we've seen SxS's going past, chockablock with camo-clad yippees, guns poking out both sides. WTF? These are "law-abiding gun license holders".
Then, a tilt tray complete with flashing lights, on a Sunday, with a 6-seater SxS on the back all bent and twisted. It's not from any farm here, it's a blow-in on someone's place. What sort of injuries also happened, under what circumstances?
Just have a think how this behaviour will make more people be supportive of any laws politicians are planning to try and get more votes, reacting to opportunity?

i think back when , fathers taught kids from a young age about firearms and proper behaviour. these days some people get a gun license and when they get with their mates they turn into instant yahoo's . no real gun morals or proper conduct being taught to these fellas . your not the only one i've heard these reports from wapati . makes me sad , cause that sort of behaviour f@cks it up for the rest of us

There are the good majority though. It's just that good news isn't good media sensationalism.

Today a big Toyota wagon pulled up out front and it was a family on their way to GlenLyon dam. Holiday makers often come down our 50km long road, because it's dirt and there's only farms.
They were freaking out over the big deer, I'd trimmed the giant mulberry tree and the deer love the leaves and small branches.
So I invited them in to feed the deer some Lucerne, the family was ecstatic and couldn't believe it.
They weren't shooters though. So I didn't have to say no.
The joy for the kids was enormous, it was really nice to see and I know they will remember that forever and so will their parents.
Always a good story somewhere.

I am from WA, we tried all that. We fought to save our guns, donated money, went to rallies, local MPs, voted against Labor at the State election in March.
All to no avail. The general population dont care about LFOs, the pollies dont care about LFOs. Bottom line is they will f*** LFOs over as they are too few and are not a factor at election time. In WA Labor got back in easily despite (I think) every LFO voting against them. We dont have a 2nd amendment!
We are truly up s**t creek. However on the flip side I managed to keep my guns and now have increased my armory to 9 firearms, because their legislation was rushed and left loopholes everywhere. Exploit the system to the fullest.

Oh the loopholes in the NSW legislation are real beauties.
It’s literally full of spelling errors. No lawyers proof read it.
Obviously can’t elaborate too much here.
We didn’t start this fight. But we will finish it.
