Nobody can and no-one will. He'll land a strategic number of additional troops ( mostly engineers and logistics ) and take over the vital infrastructure. Airports, communications, and civil jurisdictions within 72 hours. The Danes can only sit back, watch and bend the knee to the Orange man.
In time, he'll do a Putin and hold a referendum to bring over the population which are favored to join the USA and he officially annexes the joint. All while the Europeans will bend over and take another one from Daddy and say thank you.
Unlike Venezuela, which he'll think twice about landing boots cause they are the 2nd most armed civilian country in the South America and will serve their backsides in a sling, he'll land as many troops in there as he sees fit in Greenland.
The Trump administration doesn't have any regards for international rules and what they call 'rules based order' . He could drop a nuclear bomb over Cuba, and no one would stand up to him. With the recent invasion of Venezuela, he's shown he's above the law, steered by the swamp.
People that are in doubt what the States are planning to do , should read his 2025 National Security strategy report. They'll be in for a bit of a wake up call. Despite the bad blood between the USA and Russia over recent times, he doesn't see Russia as a threat to their global hegemony.
China is the sole adversary.
And will be coming down hard on countries and regions that are participants to their economic, belt and road initiative.
We're in that crap sandwich were we will have to balance again and again, our economic partnership with China and not pissing off our American overlords.
