that's what worries me . who's going to define what hate speech is ? on another topic i expressed my opinion about the quality of some of the people who emigrate to australia, is it a expression of my views or is it hate speech ? if australia became a republic it chills me to the bone that the likes of albo, wong and sarah hanson young could be involved in writing the constitution

The UK arrests around 30 people a day for so called hate speech. Its crazy mate.
If this happens here we are F’ed!

Many have given up and accepting its a fate accompli. What Tom Kenyon said in his latest video about being almost impossible to overturn a State law, probably spooked a few members deciding that the NSW Legal investigation avenue would be almost moot.
If NSW proclaims the new laws, the nation unfortunately will follow. I can't see much in the way of grounds for appeal but I'm hope I wrong.

pretty p!ss poor effort from a lot NSW gun owners . i'm in QLD and i've donated $100 twice. because if this sort of commie/socialist law isn't challenged, if shooters don't push back, it'll spread to other states eventually . i've read over 12,000 iranians have died fighting for their freedom from a religious regime, yet tens of thousands of NSW gun owners can't be f@cked donating the cost of a carton of beer or two for a legal challenge to protect their freedoms and rights ?
really freakin' shameful

Exactly, but many people I know in Australia don’t give a f*** about many things if it does not affect them directly. Many gun owners will not fight if it doesn’t affect them yet.
It will affect them one day that’s for sure, then they will whinge. I only own five firearms, but I have donated several times, written to all QLD and many federal MPs several times, because I know these changes are just the tip of the iceberg. Anyone that thinks that because they own a lever action, bolt action, or break action firearm they are safe in the future has their head up their arse…
I reckon the next thing to ban in the future will be any cartridge over 308, or maybe ban all military cartridges like 223, 308, 30-06 etc.
This is just the tip of the iceberg.
