Ammo duds, weird stuff, unexpected bonuses

Ever found factory ammo that was made incorrectly?
Maybe you found some duds in a box of projectiles, or malformed cases in a few bags when reloading.
I certainly have and if there is interest, I'll have a look and take a few pics.

I remember a few years ago when I really got into a Remington 700 stainless Senderos in 300 RSAUM and 300 RUM for nighttime spotlighting across big crop paddocks out here on some very big pigs that were eating the crops and flogging all the big-name pigdog boys animals out here. Anyway the Remington brass came in 50 pc bags and EVERY bag had 51 cases in it.
Anyone else had that happen or noticed it?

Not sure if I've posted this pic before but I was making sure I had no loose ammo around (against the law as who knows what it might decide to do) and came across this shell I went to use when a certain animal came into the yard and endangered my dogs.
This is how it came out of the box.

Nothing too dramatic that i can remember,

Once saved up to buy fancy 270 winchester supreme accubond ammo for my first trip to the NT. 1/4 of the polymer tips were floating around the box. Others missing.

Bout the same time i had a rubbish run for dud primers in PMC ammo about 3-4 a box for 4 boxes.

Bought 200round of winchester subsonic 308 only to find its rarely subsonic...pulled the projies, dropped a grain of powder.
Current batch of winny subsonic 22s ive got aren't subsonic either. Short barrel may be the issue on those.

Hey yeah, I bought a 500 pack of 87gn green-tipped 6mm Gamekings for reloading and if you grabbed the green tip, it just pulled out.
I had one of those MTM 50-rd ammo boxes on the footwell of a SxS and opened it to find numerous tips had shaken out.

These Winchester brand 243 cases were in a bag I bought recently, looks like maybe they collapsed during neck sizing in the factory?

I went out and emu-paraded the gravel outside the reloading room door to find them, so it may look like they have been fired but no they haven't, it's just they've been outside for a while. Thought this might be interesting.

Yep I have had that happen to me too. I ended up weighing each 22 projectile, a mate did likewise. Those under certain grm
were used only for rifles, as they stuffed up big time in handguns, those above that certain grm were used in handguns, with no problem. Go figure.
