Don’t know about you blokes but prior to a week ago every time i logged into google and typed “e” Enoughguns would automatically pop up. But for the last week, nothing. I have to type the whole thing in each and every time before getting in. Odd ??????

my computer has been odd lately too . last night usedguns website didn't come up in the browser history search. and i'm "window shopping" on there numerous times a day. once i typed it in , usedguns.com.au, it turned up . the feed on my home page also slowly been showing bias against articles from sky news showing up, and increases with lefty articles from the guardian and MSM nine news articles , even though the majority i click onto are from sky. i thought your search history and clicked on news articles were supposed to increase your preferences , not do the opposite. maybe the guv'ment has installed a algorithm that steers you away from guns and anti guv'ment news articles ? i read this morning that the labour guv'ment has quite a large department to do with messaging and monitoring social media .
in this woke modern world it would not surprise me one bit about "influences" on our media and internet. if you take a look at the level of digital monitoring on chinese citizens , it's very, very possible that our guv'ment is exerting influence over our internet services . we are living in a world that is starting to resemble a "orwellian" society IMHO . :?

Most shooting org/gunshop facebook pages i look at were sin binned or had posts removed last week. Particularly posts advising people to emails MPs.

Wonder what was in the fine print of the under 16 social media ban the gov introduced.

This latest “oddity” goes back further. For those that saw,, i posted weeks ago that the usedguns site refused to load up. I’ve done everything like completely clearing cookies, cache, etc and even using a different search engine. I still can’t get the usedguns site to load up.

No problem here - loaded up straight away. Haven't visited the site in a very long time.
Probably a problem with your own settings.

even though most of the news articles i click on are from sky , no links or articles on my computer home page from sky this morning , odd , very odd.

"he who controls the media controls peoples minds" . i fear that technology is being used covertly on the people of this country in ways similar, but more subtle, than communist countries, and the MSM are complicit . i fear it's turning into a Orwellian situation in Australia

   good on ya , that's the aussie spirit of taking the p!ss :D

with regards to man buns, i did give the 6.5CM a try , just so i new what it was about rather than just listening to the opinions of others. i wouldn't buy another . general purpose hunting calibres start at 7-08, 7x57 and 308 for me now

as for "taking the p!ss" ,the modern generation actively look for offence in light hearted candid quips these days . bring back "kingswood country" and the "paul hogan show" i say :D

i'm thinking any AI program in your computer wapiti , is too scared to show lefty news feeds, lest it gets taken to "the train station" :D :P

Check out the "second hand Sundays" that The Barn has every week too blokes, nice and closer to you... make a good day trip.

They have some classic guns going through there, some real quality finds I wouldn't expect so much from this grain/coal/LNG area.
Won't be cheapies though, but a least you know it's quality stuff and you can check them over.
2nd hand scopes there are bloody dear though.
Just a thought.

OK so you've already tried a few things listed here:
https://www.itomic.com.au/when-a-websit ... to-fix-it/
Not sure how far down the rabbit hole you've gone, but I hope this helps.

A few other random thoughts
Are you using a VPN?
Can any other device on the same network connect to the site in question?

Thanks for that Mate,
Just for the record, I consider myself to be "technologically bankrupt"

And to prove it,, I don't even know what a "VPN" is.

However, the Gods must be smiling upon me, cos yesterday for some obscure reason I clicked on "UsedGuns" and a miracle happened.
It loaded up.

your not the only one who's not tech savy mate ;) still facts are facts , my 'puter has done some strange things lately . a younger couple i know , a few years ago, were talking about buying a new fridge . they'd just gotten the latest "smart phones", and lo and behold, when they went online with their phones they were bombarded with adds for new fridges . they thought that very odd , and not coincidental , as did i. still, people don't learn as they bought a chinese electric car recently, no doubt the PRC are information gathering through these things

Hey Rich, i do know this much,, the phone thing “listening to what your talking about” is pretty well known about. First line of defence is to turn SIRI (or whatever your phones helper is called) off. Cheers,

AI Mate, called SIRI on an I Phone, and BIXBY, on a Samsung. Don’t ask me anymore than that cos i’ve never used the feature. But if its turned on, it listens to everything and responds accordingly.

:D yeah , i do know what they are , but i don't use or buy into any of that rubbish . i guess my dry sense of humour pretending about not knowing about that stuff is doesn't come across too well online :D

i'd like to start my own community and religion , a little bit like the Amish in the USA . no technology or vehicles after 1980 . instead of Amish horse drawn buggy's everyone drives holden or falcon utes, and family vehicles are ford fairlanes or holden statesman's , valiants are also accepted :D .
no mobile phones or computers , public library where people and kids go to learn from reading books instead of being taught left wing doctrine like in current schools and universities. no online trolling , ya got something to say you say it in person , instead of from behind a screen . what a lovely place it would be :D

with a statue in the town square of the prophet , a smallish woman with fish and chips in one hand , a 22 semi auto in the other

disclaimer- any trolling lefty's or feds , this is called humour , a bit off "tongue in cheek" fun . something that used to exist before freedom killing, restrictive hate speech laws and government over reach and intrusion into citizen's lives :unknown:
