Replacing the Taipan

Looks like The Uniparty is intending to "seize" [their term] my .223 Taipan Evo so looking at possible replacements.
The recently released Ruger Scout Mk 2 is looking good, takes P-mags and the scope off the Taipan will go straight on the Ruger etc.
called my LGS yesterday to be told "The Distributor" had nil stock and nil on order, thankfully that was a sad case of a young bloke with f5ckall brains not listening.
I emailed Nioa and they replied this morning, rifles are due March / April, there is some stuff about the Ruger on Youtube, product release at Shot Show '26 and such.

I thought they were grandfathering those already owned?
A NSW farmer was telling me that earlier this week, his sons both have them and collections of CZ 515's in 22 ans 22mag.
So that would mean Chimeras, Alcors too?

He reckoned nobody has been told a thing, nobody officially informed, the local town NSW coppers they know also know nothing... only info is from media and that prone-to-panic Premier shooting his mouth off. What gives?

A nice Aussie made pump action like the Wedgetail?
I don't have one cos I've got other stuff similar already, but the one I looked at when I dropped into Gunworld at Browns Plains was faultless.
Quality does cost though, but looks like a lifetime of performance.

Yeah, something in my mind right now.

Certain weak politicians' knee-jerk reactions instead of being professional leaders and now, with nobody seemingly supporting their juvenile over-reaction, are keeping their heads down and deflecting elsewhere.

Minns has made himself look like the reactive faux-leader that he always has been, an emotive over-reactor, and the cogs are grinding slowly watching everyone else who can keep their knee-jerk emotions in check...
