New law - Lending firearms increased from 3 to 6 months

They changed the Weapons Act section 35(6C)

You can now lend or borrow guns for 6 months without needing a PTA. It use to be 3 months.

Weird this slipped in or has not been mentioned by shooter union. I just noticed it because I am lending out a rifle and my mate thought you need a PTA but I told him no you can have it for 3 months without a PTA so long as you are suitably licensed.

Be an armourer. Armourers don't need PTAs either.

They can buy all the grenades they want if they can find them.

Agree, I'da thought unionists would be down-to-earth working class blokes that'd hunt... Just like I was.
