Hi Fellas, anyone owned one of these and run 3" shells through them? I assume they kick pretty hard but what about cycling them?

I believe almost all Adlers have 3" chambers, it should be stamped on the gun.

cheers for the reply mate, yep they do, was just wondering about whether they have any dramas. Some 3" semi autos have a reputation of not ejecting certain brands or roll crimps.

Looks like you might have to get some and try 'em yourself Mick.
It'll be fun anyway.

Yeah I was sort of basing the purchase around running 3" shells( heavy buckhot loads and Brenneke slugs) and if its a no go, I'll move it on.

Yes , I bought a 5 pack of 3 inch winchester slugs. I only fired 2, the recoil was severe. The final 3, I cut open and removed some powder. The Adler is a light weight 12 gauge. It's also junk. On the bright side, my local gave me $100 for it. Which i thought was amazing cause I told them everything that was wrong with it.

In my Templeton 2000 I use 36 gram aaa loads instead of 32 it’s extra recoil but u can manage it Not sure if I could hastily get of a few well aimed shots with 3 inch magnum shells

Mate how did you do that? You pulled the crimp, then the wad, then just tipped some powder out and re crimped it?
