So it seems that "they" have now fully engaged the new import laws... fully deleting pump action, push button release, lever release, and straight pull firearms as well as parts from being brought into the country under cat A & B regulations... regardless of the fact that QLD & NT are not participating with the federal crapshoot...

And what's with TAS suddenly caving and giving way to Canberra's bullcrap?... is that a representation of what could happen in QLD & NT before too long??

Why has SSAA not done more to ensure that this crap isnt happening?.. seems to be that only Shooters Union is doing anything to combat this massive overreach by the "government"...

Were not allowed to have semi autos without a bloody good reason, yet all the gang bangers have them under their beds, or in their cupboards.
These rifles will be the same now.


I cannot for the life of me understand why the gov want to remove firearms that they know all about.
They know what they are, where they're used and who owns them, especially when all of this is the governments fault, not the poor old registered owner just trying to enjoy what's left of his depleted sport.

Border Force stopped allowing importation of the Ruger BX15 magazine back in 2019 despite it still being legal to own in all states. They won't allow anybody to import them anymore because somebody _might_ use one in a Ruger Charger pistol, and that would be illegal. It seems Border Force doesn't care about our actual laws, if the government tells them we can't be trusted with something then we simply can't have it.

It won't EVER create a black market, because all those Turkanistan thingys are and were registered.
This is nothing like 1996, when we all had semi-autos that weren't registered, and as we all know, the majority (despite the crap you get told) weren't handed in.
Those, the stolen guns previously registered until nocked, and all the containers full of guns coming in with the white powder and pills, is the "Black Market".
