shooters union range opens at Esk , QLD

just got a email detailing how shooters union have opened their own range out at esk , west of brisbane . that's great news for shooters in general with another range open . i'd post a link , but i can't seem to make it happen from my email . it's a bit further than my usual range of ripley , but i might have to consider a road trip out there to check it out

Yeah its good for the sport but at only 200m there is not much you can do there in regards to centrefire rifles.

well , the vast majority of my hunting shots are under 200 meters , i actually sight my rifles for zero at 200 , hasn't failed me yet

200 is all most people shoot anyway.
I kill cardboard for load developement, or sighting in/zero checking only.


200m is all Belmont SSAA has.
300m at Ipswich SSAA.

If you want to shoot longer distances in Brisbane you have to join a specific rifle club.

Yeah thats what I mean. Like sighting in a rifle etc.
