Remington 700 long action stock . As new. I put the action into an AICS stock and rebarreled to 6.5-284 as her second F Class open target rifle.
Be a shame to chuck it in the Skip.

My apologies mate if you could've used the stock also, you certainly love your bits and bobs rifle projects too!
Rem 700's have always been one of my two favourite rifle actions and brands though, this stock has a home it'll like and I'll post a pic of what barrelled action it's going to meet up to.

no apologies necessary mate . i don't have a use for that stock , but i do have a appreciation for what it is. keep us posted on your project . i've had to pull my head in with projects recently due ti financial priorities, but i derive interest and joy out of watching others build theirs . cheers

Mate if you ever want to come out here for something different to do, and bring home a fridge of venison, with sons or daughters or son-in-laws whatever,
there's a campsite on a shady bend in the creek, a few K's away from the farmhouse with a 2-room donga, with a bedroom, kitchen, generator shed, even air-cons in each end if your genny is big enough. A tank fed by a 8x8m roof over the whole thing.
Good deeds without wanting anything in return is rare, so anytime. You've got my number in a PM.
