good stuff mate

. i nailed a couple of good pigs my self on my trip . great trip , my stalking skills improve with each trip i do. i walk at about the same pace as slow moving sheep and cattle and it doesn't upset the birds . i don't look directly at roo's wallabies with the same slow walk , and they don't panic and spook everything else . got in real close to some wedgies having a feed on a roo carcass. man they were massive . freakin' magic . i love going bush :D

I remember seeing a wedgie back in the 90's that I thought was a pig at first. There was a pig carcass about 100m away and I could see a black shape on it. I thought it was another pig, as it had its head down on the carcass. Then it flew off. It was a monster. I have been lucky to see a few up close, they are very impressive.

I think I posted this b4. Wedgetail chick flew into my campsite and sat on my bed beside me. Dj sent me a boar pic from your trip.

Great to hear your doing well. Compress is an incredibly easy app to use for reducing pic sizes. I must have mentioned it before. … in the middle of a mid hunt rest. Charging up all my batteries , cake coffee. 15 mins horizontal. Just shot a fox and salted its tail. No sign of my big monster boar yet but the night is young.

those big boars don't get big by being stupid . learning their individual habits and laying in wait to ambush them, or upsetting their escape routes confuses them . on a trip a mate of mine suggested circling round into a paddock from the opposite direction and cutting off their usual escape through the fence into the neighbours property worked . they were confused as to what to do after we surprised them and cut them off from their usual route, and ran down the fence line while we popped them off :D
