Has the NSW government gotten the willies?

Post by straightshooter » 19 Mar 2026, 6:41 pm

The next NSW state election is more than a year away and I am already getting Laber electioneering adds interrupting youtube videos for me.
Something must have really put the wind up them to kick off electioneering this far out from an election.
I wonder what it could be!
Has anybody else noticed?

Anyone not voting to out the Uni-parties in NSW would need their heads read ATM.

One Nation is the only chance, but we also have the SFFP actually fighting for us.

As a classic example, watch the SA Labor stooge get back in and run to the draw to grab the new gun laws plans out, and put the legislation through.

Do you think Vic will do any different.

All that matters is pre-election time for the major corruption parties, post-election, they will all be for tougher gun laws and Elbo will do whatever he can with funding to force the Tories into submission, so don't think Qld and Tassie can hold out forever.

Queensland IS NOT going to copy Labor on these laws. They have made their changes after actually waiting for expert industry, farmer and business advice, not running to the agendas of the socialists.
We (4 of us running the action group to save our town) had a wind-factory meeting here in town and we had two 100% connected Liberal members drive up to see us, and they both said, to my enquiry, NFW is this happening what the knee-jerking little boy over the Tweed border did.
They said, the gun laws as they were, and the checks by the relevant government departments weren't followed, simple.

Have a look at how it has gone in SA today. Labor - huge majority, Libs - wiped out, ON - nada.

Sadly I suspect it will be the same in Victoria in November.

ON nada? Their primary vote is higher than the liberals. They have 3 upper house and at least 1 lower house seats. Due to the gay preference voting system its hard to win a lower house seat but upper house seats are more representative.

The upper house is what matter as they can do their job to block gay laws whilst they grow their primary support.

Fellas, our way of life and that of 30 other 1st world countries have declined the same way at the same speed the last 35 years or so. Manufacture gone, sale of national assets, currency sales, break up of family unit, minority worship, kids unable to buy houses ever again, etc etc, all across the 1st world.

Didnt matter which left or right Howard-keating-obama-thatcher-merkel-trump-bushomatic roboclone was in power, it rolled out exactly the same.

Everyone here knows it, we admit the size of the problem, the number of countries involved (because we had a 1st world upbringing and presumbly know gour eography) we can guess the level of control it must be to effect 31 countries like this, and the current result is right in our faces anytime we buy something or our kids fkn try get a house loan.

And then we take the easier mental route and argue labor vs liberal.

that's it in a nut shell . well said . my boss was going off yesterday as changes to the system with regards to tax and super being changed from quarterly to weekly is going to take away the financial flexibility of business . we manufacture and install commercial air con ducting and don't get paid months sometimes after the job is done . labor is killing small business even more than it already has, this new change could well be the straw that breaks the camels back politically . my boss swears he's voting ON next election . i'm hopeful labor and greens get wiped out next election, and i reckon except in some city electorates it's a real possibility . here's hoping ...

could it be the coalition who are supposed to be conservative, have learned their lesson after record polling for ON ? i hope so cause we need conservatives to unite to rebuild this country . that's good to hear about the qld gun laws . i think crusifulli is maybe sharper and more common sensed than people give him credit for . i'm following the enquiry into corruption and influence of the CFMEU and the former labor government .there's been some shocking mafia/biker gang type stuff going on . they've extended the enquiry due to what they've unearthed, and are investigating how much involvement former labor ministers had in corruption and ripping of the taxpayer . destroy the labor party , hell yeah
