With all the bullsh!t that came out of Federal Parliament today concerning supposedly stopping violence, hatred, and radicalisation does sweet f#ck all to stop the damage done each and everyday by the brainwashing of our children,,, with the guns and mayhem featured on so many electronic games.
Games that encourage killing, shooting, and slaughter.
Games that de sensitize our children.

I'll bet my b@lls the government will NEVER take those guns away

Human trash, DJ.
Politicians are the least qualified human beings to make fair decisions that ever walked this earth.
Until people realise that they are the pathetic puppets of masters that you will never see, they will soon experience true pain.
Ask those that already are. Are the voters ruined enough yet to realise this?

Respectfully, I know the hypocrisy of government is always extremely aggravating, but I'm of the opinion that when your government is extremely heavy handed about banning guns from lawful citizens to keep them "safe", the last thing people should want to do is complain that they aren't being as equally heavy handed in many other areas of citizens' lives. That just seems to reinforce the notion that government should keep promising more and more safety by smothering us with endless nanny state, rights abusing edicts instead of simply being in charge of safeguarding those god given rights, while allowing more freedoms.

Sorry mate, I read it how DJ intended it...
That to have let the youth have access for so long to violent video games which is well proven to have desensitised people into committing violence against others, yet come down on firearms users that use them for lawful purposes AFTER the horse has bolted. It's just ridiculous and simply proves leadership failure.
And double standard, if not outright agenda.

Never bought into this video games desensitize kids stuff. We made guns and swords out of fence palings and conducted mass slaughter, engaged in scorched earth and actually whacked each other with the swords. Those who could afford actual cap guns shot us in the back and when Guy Fawkes came around, bloody hell. Didn't turn most of us into murderers, and the couple in my street that did were on the way anyway. I really don't think kids in the last 25 years (the period we are talking about) are any more prone to violence than we were.

When I see the coroners reports on so many violent, seemingly without reason murders lately, and attempted assassinations of important folk elsewhere that don't actually blame the use of this kind of entertainment, of so many of these sick individuals were routinely engaged in violent video games, I agree with DJ here.

I suppose all you can do is extrapolate the percentage of the population compared to violent acts, back through Australia's history. I've got better things to do, but one things for sure, this perversion by bored people to play these pointless video games is right up there with offenders.
