What do you think of this idea. Perhaps we need it here.

thanks for posting , i had a read of the lefty "guardian" article, and i think they are right . firing sqauds can botch the job .so i'll go one further, bring back the guillotine :P . hard to stuff that up :D

personally i think pedo's should be drawn and quartered like in the middle ages , with the quarters sent to the 4 corners of australia .and their head mounted on a spear outside of parliment house :D i think that would have a big impact on pedo sex crimes

disclaimer to any federal authorities monitoring my post . the above comments are in jest , unless we have politicians who mandate the above penalties as law.
i'll give islamic countries their due , crime rates are low in a lot of them due to legal consequences . victoria with a high rate of home invasion for car keys for car theft would see a reduction in these crimes if convicted crims had their hand cut off as per islamic law . if your stupid enough to do it twice you'd have a hard time wiping your arse

From what I have read , the firing squads shoot offhand. I am not a great offhand shooter myself so can understand why only three shooters might not hit the mark. Give them a bench to shoot from with front and rear bags. Problem solved. Guess they dont do head shots so the rellies have something to look at when they get the bodies,
We need something more for a deterrent here, what with the coppers working their ring off to catch them then the courts letting them out to do it again.
They hide their faces but their legs all have a good suntan. :o

I just don't buy the story that, a line of shooters standing, how close? To a person deserving of being removed from wasting oxygen, could miss the chest of that person who is not moving about, blindfolded.
And what ammo do they use? Cartridges and projectiles?
Ammo used to disable soldiers on a battlefield and hold up another two combatants to take them away for help? Or proper expanding bullets?
And do they employ pimply-spotted video-game-only inexperienced triggermen? Of course not, but what's the story then.

I reckon there's a few grains of BS in that story, both from the axe-to-grind leftist university media, the way things are done to try and make cleaning up easier, and politics on both sides. It's all about information manipulation combined with incompetence to me.

Better to let the purps go, don't hurt them. Their terrible crimes are the result of the system. maybe a quiet talking-to over a cup of sweet tea and scones will be a better way to stop them reoffending and make amends to the lives they've ruined. It's all society's fault.

Imagine the odds back in the days of muskets and black powder, and the likes of the soldiers that were only 17 yo boys that were conscripted.
