Game hunting and large prey. Deer stalking, hunting with hounds. Boar, pigs etc., large prey, culling, hunting large feral animals.

THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT SHE TOLD ME TOO!!!!!!! :lol: :lol: I then asked for dates and was told they were already booked, so asked for another that was booked too. :huh:

There had been a drought the previous year when we were there, so that was a factor in conditions. It will be different for you.

Trip report - saw plenty of pig sign but no pigs. The grass was almost chest height and not sure if thermals would have helped. Bumped 2 wild dogs but wasn't quick enougn for a shot. There was also a civil crew trenching and laying gas pipes, so I don't think that helped us either. I wish they had have told us that was goingbto be going on. I would have booked a different property. The owner was a great guy, you couldn't fault him. Shot more rounds on their onsite range than at any game unfortunately

That's disappointing.

When there is plenty of water and feed about it can make it harder to find them, as they can be spread out a lot more. Tall grass makes it tough.
