brave new world ?

Post by bigrich » 30 Aug 2026, 4:18 am

i found this news story this morning . in years to come information may only be found online , giving control and narrative to AI or whoever's in power. sounds very Orwellian , never mind the destruction of rare books and sometimes priceless information and history . in future if some of this is deemed not in the interests of our woke new world order, this information will simply disappear. nazi book burning rallies anyone ? :unknown:

Rorry Rich, by clicking on anything called MSN I'm encouraging the anti-Aussie journalism to just get more enthusiasm.

Yes I was! Not the Craw, the Craw!
Imagine that today, the pants-wetters would have to change their absorbent nappies.

My wife and I were talking about that just the other day, imagine these robots being used as sacrificial soldiers by the CCP?
See how fast the buggers can run? They would track you down with thermal, AI, connectivity to overhead satellites or drones and could wipe us all out.
And the only way for flesh and bone to ward them off would be a powerful firearm with a mag full of FMJ's, hole a few circuitboards.

Everything the CCP does is aimed at world domination, not a better safer world for humanity. Whether industrially, financially, or militarily, this is their aim.
Hey, let's disarm the people so they feel even more helpless.

besides the "terminator" movies , there's been a few on this subject . one that comes to mind is called "screamers" , starring petter weller ( robocop ) . the plot is basically a war between union workers on a mining planet and the corporation that owns the planet and the mine . automated manufacturing plants produce different types of AI robots , from cockroach looking things with blades called "mobile broad sword" , to human looking "infiltration" units that are in the form of a small boy . in another 20 years i don't think this concept is too far fetched :?

bit of a nerdy vid , but here you go . 7.34 into the vid has a updated version that's lizard like in design

I didn't bother looking at the link, but imagine the damage AI will do to us when our leaders couldn't organize 3 Weet-Bix in a bowl of milk.

Weet-Bix, not the weetbix, said the woke man identifying as a woman, or the 2 blokes in bed waking up in the morning.
