57 and a half years young . when i was a kid the stooges and western movies were on the telly all the time . happy days .

mate , when i was very young ,early 70's , all we had was a black and white tv . popular at the time for kids was "the cisco kid" hey mate , australia in the early 70's was 10 years behind the US . actually the black and white tv was suited to "the black and white minstrel show" can i even mention that now , someone might get offended

That reminds me of the days when we would watch tv and the Cisco Kid, through the streetfront window of the local tv shop. Never heard of the minstrels but Cisco was a big drawcard for schoolkids on their way home

never heard of "the black and white minstrel show" ?. my grandfather used to watch it in the mid 1970's on the telly. you won't see that again . or kingswood country , love thy neighbour or any other shows deemed "racially insensitive" in this new woke world . bloody cancel culture . if i was ted bullpit i'd probably say "somebody should blow woke up...." aw geez , can i still say that ?
