First couple of bunnies!

Finally got my first couple of rabbits yesterday.

Pretty happy.
Have had a few near misses, but finally starting to get my shakiness under control and get the job done

I've hooked a mate on the weekend just gone by.

We went out for rabbits and he had some reservations about doing it. That evaporated the second he shot his first one

Sure will. It's funny, they were literally just running around the paddocks in the middle of the day until I got my firearms license.
Now they have gone back to being sneaky.

Nah, it's fair enough. Getting edible rabbits is a bit of pot luck.

You could get clean, healthy ones and manky, sickly ones at the same place all the time.

Best not make yourself sick.

Bistoli. Bought it online from Western Firearms.

It has three different sized blocks to raise the height of the stock as I was having trouble getting a good sight picture.
The stock is more of a height for iron sights.

Toss bunny in a plastic shopping bag, squirt a spray of fly spray in there, or on both sides, and close the bag. 20min later skin a nice scented bunny pelt

The fleas don't really bother me, but I don't want them dropping off around the house where they'll jump onto the dogs (who are due for their summer Revolution anti tick treatments)

Give them foxes heaps, practice and miss on bunnies all day, just don't miss them cunning red jacketed chook murdering barstarrrrds!
